Biography:

I was raised in Stockton, graduated from Stagg High in 1966 and San Jose State in 1971 then went to work for the Lodi Police Department where I stayed for nearly 30 years, retiring in August 2000.

While with Lodi PD, I trained and worked police dogs and horses for the mounted unit in addition to my other duties. In 1993 I was awarded the Lodi Police Department Medal of Valor, the highest honor that can be bestowed on an officer and I was one of the first to receive that award.

While an officer with Lodi, I had a parallel career as a commissioned officer in the California National Guard and later the Army Reserve, attaining the rank of Major while serving as a Military Police, and later as an officer in the Field Artillery.

Before retiring, I had taken an interest in Real Estate, and when I retired I obtained a California Real Estate License and worked with Prudential California Realty until October of 2001 when I moved to Century 21 M&M.

My home is in Lockeford where I continue to follow my passion for horses and dogs. My two horses are both used in Civil War reenacting and I did a year with the 7th Michigan Cavalry (Custer's Wolverines), but in July of 2004 bought "Old Moses" a full-size reproduction 1841 model 6-pound smoothbore cannon. Around the gun, I formed a unit of reenactors representing the 2nd US Horse Artillery, Battery "A" and we moved to the Federal Artillery of RACW. Events and information regarding "Old Moses" and the other guns of the 11th Brigade can be found at www.racw.org where you can click on links to events and other information.

The passion and dedication I carried throughout my military and police career has carried over to my 'new' career, and my honesty and dedication in serving your needs is foremost among my goals.
